One of the few downsides to the Pixel is its steep price tag, which sits right at $500. That’s not as expensive as some of Samsung’s tablets, and yes, it includes the speaker accessory, but it does make your buying decision a little tougher.

The bad news is there aren’t any direct discounts available on the Pixel Tablet right now, but the good news is, there are still a few ways to save. Both Best Buy and Google have nice trade-in offers running for the Pixel. The former will give you up to $300, and the latter as much as $450. Obviously, these amounts depend on the model and condition of the device you are trading in, but the end result could mean you paying just $50 for the tablet at Google. Additionally, Amazon will let you buy the Pixel via 12 monthly payments, and although that won’t necessarily save you money, it will split up the purchase price, making things a bit easier on your wallet.

You won’t find the Pixel Tablet on sale at the Google Store right now, but it does offer a 12-month financing plan that can break the cost down to as little as $42 a month if needed. We may see a discount on Google’s latest tablet soon, though, so check back often!

Amazon has a few ways to make Pixel Tablet purchases easier on your wallet. The first is via a monthly payment plan. Well-qualified buyers can split up the cost into 12 monthly payments, so it doesn’t all hit your bank account at once. The second way is, you can opt to buy used or from a third party, just be sure to stick to highly-rated sellers.

The Google Pixel Tablet is also currently full price at Best Buy, but you can earn up to $300 in trade-in credit towards the device with qualifying trades. You can also opt for an Open-Box model, and save an additional $165.
How much does the Pixel Tablet cost?
There are two options available for the Google Pixel Tablet, a 128GB model and a 256GB model. Both include a docking station with the purchase, which doubles as both a charging station and a speaker. The 128GB model goes for $500 normally, but we have seen it go on sale for as low as $400. The 512GB normally goes for $600, but it’s also seen a $100 discount at a few retailers in recent weeks.
What can the Google Pixel Tablet do?
The Google Pixel Tablets are best suited as a streaming tablet and smart home controller. Sporting a Google Tensor G2 CPU paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, the Pixel Tablet is a good mid-range tablet that’ll work well for personal use. These specs make it a good choice as a tablet for streaming movies or TV shows, listening to music, browsing the web, chatting on video calls, or using social media. It also works perfectly as a smart home hub and management tablet, pairing up nicely with Google Home and other Google smart devices.
Since the Pixel Tablet can act essentially as a Google Nest Hub, you’ll be able to pair it up with all of Google’s smart devices, including the Nest Doorbell camera to see who’s at the door and respond to visitors and even the Nest Thermostat to manage and monitor your HVAC system.
Does the Google Pixel tablet come with a pen?
While the Pixel Tablet does not come with a stylus when purchased, it does feature USI 2.0 Pen support to connect with compatible devices. There’s a fairly large offering of third-party options to choose from thankfully, and some of the best stylus pens can be found on sale anywhere from $15 to $30 if you know where to look.
