Samsung’s Galaxy smartphone line has long produced some of our favorite handsets, and the recently-launched Galaxy S24 series is no different. Equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors and stunning displays, the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra are among the best Android phones you can buy in 2024. However, the cheapest model in the S24 series is priced at $800, so you’re probably going to want to find discounts and deals to help take some of that burden off of your wallet. Fortunately, we’ve done all the legwork for you, and have put together a list of all the best S24 deals available right now, below.
There are really two types of deals when it comes to smartphones: instant discounts, which are typically offered by manufacturers and their retail partners, and carrier promotions. The former is virtually headache-free, and geared more towards folks who want to buy the phone outright. The latter can offer massive savings, but will require some mix of upgrading, device trade-in, new line activation, and long-term commitment to a wireless provider.
Good news for those that are currently shopping for a Galaxy S24 handset: there are tons of great deals going on right now. Best Buy has the best instant discounts going, taking up to $350 off the S24 for those willing to activate the phone using its Activate Today program. Amazon also has some great instant discounts running right now, and Samsung is offering free storage upgrades on all three models. Finally, for those willing to make long-term carrier commitments, both AT&T and Verizon are offering select S24 models for free and up to $1,000 discounts on the Ultra via trade-in, upgrade, or adding a new line of service.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra review: Still the best, unless you take photos
Without any meaningful changes, Samsung’s latest phablet feels like a do-over for last year’s smartphone
How much does the Galaxy S24 series cost?
All three models of the Samsung Galaxy S24 come with some pretty hefty price tags. Following is all of the prices for the base model here in the U.S.
- Samsung Galaxy S24: Starting at $800 (8GB RAM, 128GB)
- Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus: Starting at $1,000 (12GB RAM, 256GB)
- Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: Starting $1,300 (12GB RAM, 256GB)
The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ have retained the same starting price as last year’s phone, but the S24 Ultra’s introductory price has risen by $100. The titanium body is likely a key factor for that price increase, but it does push the Ultra into nearly the same space as many of the best Galaxy Z Fold 5 deals in terms of pricing, which is pretty surprising.
Of course, all the phones get more expensive if you add more storage or RAM to the equation. The Galaxy S24 can be upgraded to 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM model, while the Galaxy S24+ has 12GB of RAM in all models but comes with the choice of 512GB of storage if you want to pay more. The S24 Ultra has 512GB and 1TB internal storage options. You can upgrade, too, if you so choose.
Is the Galaxy S24 series worth an upgrade?
With all these great trade-in deals happening right now, you may wonder if it’s worth swapping out your Galaxy S23 for the newer model. After all, how much can a phone change in a year?
In our hands-on preview with the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ models, we didn’t notice any monumental changes that make the phone an absolute must-have for anyone holding on to a Galaxy S23 or S23+. However, due to the nature of the trade-in deals from AT&T and Verizon offering free upgrades for anyone trading in any Galaxy phone in any condition, that offer might be too good to pass up. Of course, if you don’t like those carriers, Samsung’s trade-in offers are a great way to save a good portion of the upfront cost.
