Misaka v3.3.1 update adds M1/M2 support, fixes iPad UI bugs, and more…

The Misaka package manager app received another update on Wednesday, this time up to version 3.3.1 with new features and bug fixes that might be of interest to a substantial amount of prospective users.

First announced in a post shared to X (formerly Twitter) by project lead developer @straight_tamago, Misaka v3.3.1 appears to bring with it the following changes:

– Released version compatible with M1/M2
– Added lyrics editing function for music files
– iPad UI bug fixes

Obviously, the major highlight in today’s update is going to be the M1/M2 chip support, which is primarily for iPads. The developer has also spent time refining the user interface on iPads, as shown by the UI bug fixes.

Whether you’re a new or existing user, it’s strongly recommended that you take advantage of the latest to ensure that you have all the latest bug fixes and improvements at your disposal.

Existing users can install the latest .ipa file directly over their existing installation. The latest .ipa can be acquired from the project’s GitHub page.

With Misaka, you’re able to install hacks and add-ons that work with the MacDirtyCow exploit for iOS & iPadOS 15.0-16.1.2 and the kfd exploit for iOS & iPadOS 16.0.16.6 beta 1. You can also install JavaScript-based add-ons on iOS & iPadOS 17 or install TrollStore 2 using the kfd exploit.

Misaka doesn’t require a jailbreak, but it does work with jailbroken devices if you happen to already have one.
