We’re just one step short of a full-fledged A12(X) jailbreak by way of unc0ver, but all we can do at the time of this writing is remain patient until such an update finally surfaces. If you’re using an older handset, then you’re probably looking for new and exciting ways to trick out your jailbroken installation of iOS 11 or iOS 12.
In this roundup, we’ll summarize each of this week’s new jailbreak tweak releases from Monday, April 15th to Sunday, April 21st. As usual, we’ll kick things off by discussing our favorites and then outline the rest afterward.
Our favorite releases this week
DragSpring – FREE
DragSpring is a remake of a popular classic jailbreak tweak that lets you pull down from the top of your Settings app to respring your jailbroken device.
This is incredibly useful in a pinch because it doesn’t add any extraneous interfaces to your iPhone or iPad and because it works out of the box with a native interface of iOS.

PhotoManager (iOS 12) – $2.00
The Photos app in iOS leaves a lot to be desired in terms of features, and that’s why the PhotoManager (iOS 12) jailbreak tweak was created.
This tweak lets you protect your Photos app’s albums with biometric protection, hide albums from third-party image pickers, save images to a specific album instead of the Camera Roll, hide albums from the Photos app, and much more.
You can learn more about PhotoManager (iOS 12) and why it’s an upgrade from the stock Photos app experience in our full review.
Proximitus – Beta
Proximitus is a new jailbreak tweak beta that will alert you whenever you leave your house without one of your essential Bluetooth devices, such as your Apple Watch or AirPods.
Proximitus can also keep track of other Bluetooth low energy devices, and it can even let you know when one of those devices’ battery levels dips too low.
You can learn more about Proximitus and how to partake in the public beta in our full review.
Snapper 2 – $3.00
Snapper 2 is an awesome extension to iOS’ native screenshot functionality, as it lets you pin screenshots to the display for reference in other apps.
Snapper 2 can be used to compare two images side by side, to refer to something to type into another app, and to serve as a reminder on your Lock screen, among other things.
