Jailbreak tweaks of the week: BetterQueuing, MessageUnread, and more…

There sure have been some spicy jailbreak tweak releases lately, and that’s one reason why we’re all fired up about showing you the latest and greatest ways to modify your pwned iPhone or iPad.

In this roundup, we’ll show you all the latest jailbreak tweak releases from Monday, May 11th to Sunday, May 17th. As usual, we’ll kick things off by discussing our favorite releases first and then wrap things up with an outline of the rest afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

BetterQueuing – FREE

The Apple Music app is one of the best ways to enjoy music on your iPhone, but it seems to be lacking features in the music queuing department, and that’s the reason that a new and free jailbreak tweak called BetterQueuing came to be.

With it, you can use Haptic Touch gestures in the Music app to interact with your playlists. Play Next, Stop Here, and Queue Songs are just some of the new options that it brings to the table inside this menu.

You can learn more about BetterQueuing and how it works and where you can get it in our full review.

MessageUnread – FREE

MessageUnread is a simple but necessary tweak that lets users mark message threads in their Messages app as unread when they’ve accidentally been read.

The tweak is easy to invoke by simply swiping to the right on any conversation in thread view.

You can learn more about MessageUnread in our full review.

NowPlayingIcon – FREE

NowPlayingIcon is a simple new and free jailbreak tweak that replaces the standard app icon of your Now Playing app with the album artwork of whatever you’re playing.

It’s a nice touch to remind you of what’s playing, even when you’re just glancing at the Home screen.

You can learn more about NowPlayingIcon and where you can get it in our full review.

You Up? – FREE

It’s really easy to doze off again when your iPhone fires its alarm, and that’s why a new and free jailbreak tweak called You Up? is so essential.

As shown in the screenshots, You Up? forces you to solve math problems before you can dismiss your alarm. It’s a great way to make sure there’s some cognitive processing happening in your brain in the morning before you mindlessly slam the snooze button.
