Project lead developer Lars Fröder (@opa334dev) announced the latest update in a post shared to X (formerly Twitter) Saturday evening, and linked to the GitHub page which contains the following change log:

– Fix VPN not working on arm64 (2.0.7 regression)
– Fix iCloud settings being partially grayed out on arm64 (2.0.7 regression)
– Fix apps not showing up in Settings on arm64 (2.0.7 regression)
– Fix support for iOS 15.0 betas 1-3

If you’re already using the Dopamine v2 jailbreak, especially if you updated to version 2.0.7 when it was released yesterday, then it’s strongly recommended that you update at your earliest convenience to address the aforementioned bugs that could affect you.

Existing users can simply update using the over-the-air (OTA) updating mechanism in the Dopamine app, or they can download the .tipa file manually and perma-sign it over their existing installation with TrollStore. Both methods will require a userspace reboot to update the jailbreak environment afterward.

New or prospective users of the Dopamine v2 jailbreak should also be downloading and installing the latest version when jailbreaking for the first time.

You can download the latest version of Dopamine v2 either from the project’s GitHub page or from the official Dopamine jailbreak website. We also have a step-by-step tutorial that walks you through the process of jailbreaking your compatible device with Dopamine v2.

Dopamine v2 can be used to jailbreak the following device and firmware combinations:

  • iOS & iPadOS 15.0-16.6.1 on A9-A11devices
  • iOS & iPadOS 15.0-16.5.1 and 16.6 betas 1-4 on A12-A14 & M1 devices
