Software tinkerer Lior Halphon showed off that it’s possible to use the MacDirtyCow bug and the same CoreTrust bug that TrollStore for iPhone and iPad uses to perma-sign apps on the Apple Watch.

In their demonstration, Halphon perma-signed a Game Boy emulation of the Pokémon Silver game on their Apple Watch.

You can see more about this in our full news post.

iOS 17 downgrade firmware.iOS 17 downgrade firmware.

Apple has stopped signing iOS & iPadOS 17.3.1 in a move that prevents downgrades from the newer iOS & iPadOS 17.4 firmware update.

Apple tends to follow this trend one or two weeks after releasing a firmware update, and they have yet to relent after several years of this happening.
