Motorola could be preparing to have one of its biggest years in quite some time. While the brand usually debuts some budget and mid-range phones, along with a few flip-foldables, it has started this year off with a bang.

During Mobile World Congress, Motorola announced a new tablet-style foldable phone with the Razr Fold. We don’t have all the details, but it could become an alluring option if it can manage to get the pricing right.

A new tablet for the US

With that said, Motorola is now announcing a new tablet, set to arrive in the US later this month. While it’s not the most exciting option when it comes to specifications, it could become a sleeper hit since it’s going to be offered by carriers.

Motorola really excels when it’s making mid-range and budget devices, and the upcoming Moto Pad looks like it’ll slot into that price point. The new tablet will feature an 11-inch 2.5K screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, which will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

If the 128GB of storage isn’t enough, there will be room for expansion using a microSD card. Furthermore, it will pack a 7,040mAh battery, which should provide all-day battery life, along with 20W charging and a 3.5mm audio jack. The tablet will also feature quad speakers, which should make watching movies and TV shows a pleasure.

And since this tablet will be available from T-Mobile and Metro, it will pack a 5G antenna for cellular connectivity right out of the box. For the most part, it’s an average tablet that should be able to handle most activities. No pricing has been announced, so that will be a huge factor for this device.

A new phone too

Motorola is also releasing a new G Stylus phone for 2026. It will feature a large 6.7-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with long battery life and support for a stylus. There’s also 68W charging, and it comes loaded with Android 16. This phone will arrive at retailers and wireless carriers starting on April 16.
