Foldables are still pretty pricey on the day of release if you’re looking to pick up something new. So, if you’re interested but not willing to pay the high price, it’s worth waiting a round a bit to see just how much of a discount you can secure.

While we’ve seen some pretty good discounts on Samsung and Google devices, Motorola products have seen the sharpest price drops. And the good news is that the brand actually makes some pretty solid foldable phones.

One that we’ve consistently had our eye on since its release is the Moto Razr, featuring a sleek and modern design, while also coming with everything you’d need or want from a reliable Android phone. And while we’ve seen price drops in the past, this has to be the best one yet.

It was great before the discount, but this makes it a no-brainer

When it comes to the hardware, you’re looking at a 6.9-inch inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 3.6-inch cover display with a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone features a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chip with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

There’s plenty of power here to do everything you need on a phone. So, treat this like you would your daily phone, and you’ll be fine. The battery life is pretty good too, and there’s wired and wireless charging as well. The phone comes with dual cameras on the rear, with a 50MP main shooter and 13MP ultrawide.

There’s also a 32MP selfie camera, and an IPX8 rating for protection against moisture. Since this is a folding phone, you’ll want to avoid dust and debris. Not to say that it can’t handle it, but since there are moving parts, you’ll just want to be careful to preserve the phone.

When it comes to software, Motorola will support its product with three years of major updates, and four years of security updates. That means you can expect Android 17 to land on this phone at some point, and further updates beyond that. However, Motorola isn’t the fastest when it comes to updates, so that’s something to be aware of.

The discount makes it

Overall, it’s a good phone. We complained about the price at launch, but with this discount, it’s an easy one to pick up. Its MSRP sits at $700, but Best Buy is now offering the phone for just $380, which is an absolute steal. If you’ve never tried a foldable phone, this is the best time to do it.
