Rumors indicate Google will launch the Pixel 10 family on August 20th, with the phones going on sale soon after. With over a month to go, retail leaks surrounding the phones have picked up pace, revealing the color and storage options. So far, it’s the usual pre-launch leak cycle that happens with almost every other phone that’s due to launch soon. But, since it’s a Pixel we are talking about, the leaks are bound to be next-level, with an engineering motherboard of the phone going up for sale.

The Google Pixel 10 prototype motherboard listing on Goofish offers a clear look at the Tensor G5, with serial numbers blurred to prevent Google from identifying the source of the leak. According to the seller, this EVT 1.0 board for the Pixel 10 is “guaranteed to boot.” If that sounds convincing, you can buy the prototype motherboard for ¥7777 ($53).

Do note that this is just the board — you won’t get a prototype phone, so you’ll need to know your way around EVT hardware to make any use of it.

Google Pixel 10 could center around the all-new Tensor G5

The Tensor G5 will be the star of the Pixel 10 lineup this year. It is supposedly fabricated on TSMC’s more efficient 3nm node, the same one that Apple uses for making the iPhone 16 Pro’s A18 Pro chip. This should help significantly reduce power consumption and improve thermal performance, addressing a longstanding issue of Google’s Tensor chips. Don’t expect any major performance boost, though, with Google seemingly sticking to outdated CPU cores.

Given that there is over a month to go for Google to take the wraps off the Pixel 10, expect more leaks surrounding the device to pop up in the coming days and weeks.
