Jailbreak news of the week: TypeMillenium, SpoofGPT, CC26, Analog v2.0, & more…

The neveropen team has long advocated for the rights of iPhone and iPad users to jailbreak their devices, and that’s because we love what jailbreaking allows device owners to do – take full control of their device and break free from the parameters set by Apple to control what you can do on the device you own.

Weekly jailbreak news roundup.Weekly jailbreak news roundup.

Because of this longstanding idea, we’ve shared jailbreak news and jailbreak tweak releases with our readers for more than a decade, and we continue to this day. Each weekend, we’ve brought all this collective information together into a single curated piece like this one, making it easier for the average reader to keep up with the latest trends in the community despite trying lives that keep us busy from our hobbies.

In today’s roundup, which will be the last of this series going forward as we adjust to the lack of new jailbreak-related content in recent months, we’ll give you a rundown of what’s new in the community spanning the week of Monday, June 30th to Sunday, July 6th. We’ll start with the most imperative things first and then wrap up with a list of the latest jailbreak tweak updates, roundups, and tutorials toward the end.

Important stuff from this week

TypeMillenium

The TypeMillenium jailbreak tweak forces your device to show a toast notification from anywhere in your operating system whenever someone from the native Messages app begins typing to you.

This tweak is particularly useful when you don’t want to sit around and wait in the Messages app, and it offers a more interactive user experience even when you’re trying to multitask while messaging somebody.

You can learn more about TypeMillennium in our full review post.

SpoofGPT

The ChatGPT app is somewhat annoying because it requires that you have iOS 17.0 or later installed to use it.

With most jailbreakers on iOS 16 or earlier, this means the ChatGPT app can’t be used on pwned handsets… at least not without a new jailbreak tweak called SpoofGPT to get you around this silly restriction.

You can learn more about SpoofGPT and where you can get it from in our full review post.

Analog v2.0 released

Analog v2.0 for iOS 16.Analog v2.0 for iOS 16.

The updated Analog v2.0 brings support for iOS 16, allowing the analog Lock Screen clock to interact with the depth effect of your wallpaper, and more.

CC26

If you’re liking what you see with the Liquid Glass redesign in iOS 26, and you want the same Control Center user experience on your jailbroken iOS 16 device, then look no further than CC26.

This jailbreak tweak ports the iOS 26 Liquid Glass Control Center user experience to your pwned handset.
