Mugunghwa updated with enhanced features
Mugunghwa, the popular system customization platform for jailbroken and non-jailbroken devices running TrollStore, was updated on Thursday to version 3.0.2.
According to the change log, this update provides faster theming, improved safety features, and other improvements that you can learn all about in our full news post.
Best conversation-starting jailbreak tweaks
Sometimes all it takes to get a non-jailbreaker interested in jailbreaking is to show them something that your device can do that theirs can’t. That’s because doing so can invoke a jealousy that lights the wick of interest.
We showcase in a dedicated roundup what we believe are some of the best jailbreak tweaks for iOS 14 that will help you get noticed by non-jailbreakers to start a conversation about it.
You can find out more about those jailbreak tweaks in our full roundup post.
TrollApps for TrollStore
A new app called TrollApps was released to offer an App Store-like user experience for TrollStore users who want to discover and download more apps that they can perma-sign.
The TrollApps experience is complete with a list of available apps and App Store-inspired ‘Get’ buttons for each. But this early in the launch, the app still appears to be quite bare-bones and the offerings are slim.
You can learn more about TrollApps and how it looks and works in our full news post.
iOS 16.1.1 released
Apple released iOS & iPadOS 16.1.1 on Wednesday with bug fixes and security improvements for iPhones and iPads.
While the update was rumored to address a Wi-Fi bug and battery performance on affected devices, it also notably patched two security vulnerabilities.

As this week’s jailbreak news roundup comes to a close, we remind our readers that iDB will have boots on the ground all week long to ensure that everyone can stay updated on the latest news as it breaks.
Of course, we’ll also return this same time next week, albeit with a refreshed content list to match the times, so remember to keep that device on the lowest possible firmware and avoid updating it to enhance your eligibility for a jailbreak in the future!
