Python | sympy.Interval().intersect() method

With the help of sympy.Interval().intersect() method, we can get the intersection of two sets by using sympy.Interval().intersect() method.

Syntax : sympy.Interval(x, y).intersect(Interval(x, y))
Return : Return the intersection of two sets.

Example #1 :
In this example we can see that by using sympy.Interval().intersect() method, we are able to get the intersection of two sets.




# import sympy, Interval
from sympy import Interval
  
# Using sympy.Interval().intersect() method
gfg = Interval(5, 10).intersect(Interval(7, 15))
  
print(gfg)


Output :

[7, 8, 9, 10]

Example #2 :




# import sympy, Interval
from sympy import Interval
  
# Using sympy.Interval().intersect() method
gfg = Interval(0.5, 0.9).intersect(Interval(0.7, 1.2))
  
print(gfg)


Output :

[0.7, 0.8, 0.9]
