Python | sympy.as_real_imag() method

With the help of sympy.as_real_imag() method, we can get the tuple in which we have first value is real and another value is imaginary by using sympy.as_real_imag() method.

Syntax : sympy.as_real_imag()
Return : Return a tuple having both real and imaginary value.

Example #1 :
In this example we can see that by using sympy.as_real_imag() method, we are able to get the tuple having real and imaginary value both are included.




# import sympy
from sympy import *
  
# Using sympy.as_real_imag() method
gfg = (4 + 5 * I).as_real_imag()
  
print(gfg)


Output :

(4, 5)

Example #2 :




# import sympy
from sympy import *
  
# Using sympy.as_real_imag() method
gfg = (5 + 10 * I -5 * I**2).as_real_imag()
  
print(gfg)


Output :

(10, 10)
