Python | Scipy stats.hypsecant.logsf() method

With the help of stats.hypsecant.logsf() method, we can get the log value of survival function which is log(1 – cdf) by using stats.hypsecant.logsf() method.

Syntax : stats.hypsecant.logsf(x, beta)
Return : Return the log value of survival function.

Example #1 :
In this example we can see that by using stats.hypsecant.logsf() method, we are able to get the log value of survival function by using this method.




# import hypsecant
from scipy.stats import hypsecant
beta = 1
  
# Using stats.hypsecant.logsf() method
gfg = hypsecant.logsf(0.3, beta)
  
print(gfg)


Output :

-0.3473270158670634

Example #2 :

from scipy.stats import hypsecant
beta = 4
  
# Using stats.hypsecant.logsf() method
gfg = hypsecant.logsf(0.9, beta)
  
print(gfg)


Output :
