Jailbreak tweaks have come a long way. Ever since classic tweaks like Vmoji which added emoji support back on iOS 4, to Eclipse which provided Dark Mode on iOS 7 before it was cool, there are maybe hundreds of thousands of tweaks released for iOS.

Here are a few of my all-time favorites:

Maybe the greatest thing that came from iOS Jailbreaking and the thousands of tweaks developed by so many developers over the years was that iOS itself got better.

Apple learned from our tweaks learned what we crave, and ended up integrating lots of the tweaks in stock iOS. Dark Mode is now a thing on iOS. CallBar is integrated as well, Small Siri too, and so many other tweaks.

Of course, the jailbreak community will never cease to exist. There is a thrill of getting into your own device, customizing every single bit, and having your friends be like “Yo wtf?” when they see your screen.

I am happy to be part of the amazing iOS Jailbreak scene, even now when it’s harder than ever to build a jailbreak and patience is at its lowest.
