Fabric.js Ellipse hoverCursor Property

In this article, we are going to see how to set the hoverCursor property of a Ellipse canvas using FabricJS. The canvas Ellipse means Ellipse is movable and can be stretched according to requirement. Further, the Ellipse can be customized when it comes to initial stroke color, height, width, fill color, or stroke width.

To make it possible, we are going to use a JavaScript library called FabricJS. After importing the library, we will create a canvas block in the body tag which will contain the Ellipse. After this, we will initialize instances of Canvas and Ellipse provided by FabricJS and set the hoverCursor of canvas Ellipse using hoverCursor property and render the Ellipse on the Canvas as given in the below example.

Syntax:

fabric.Ellipse({
   rx: number,
   ry: number,
   fill: string,
   hoverCursor: string
});

Parameters: This function accept four parameters as mentioned above and described below:

  • rx: It specifies the horizontal radius.
  • ry: It specifies the vertical radius.
  • fill: It specifies the color to fill the ellipse.
  • hoverCursor: It specifies the value of hoverCursor.

Example: This example uses FabricJS to set the hoverCursor property the canvas ellipse.
