In this article, we are going to see how to disable the export of the canvas Ellipse using FabricJS. The canvas Ellipse means Ellipse is movable and can be stretched according to requirement. Further, the Ellipse can be customized when it comes to initial stroke color, height, width, fill color, or stroke width.
To make this possible we are going to use a JavaScript library called FabricJS. After importing the library, we will create a canvas block in the body tag which will contain the Ellipse. After this, we will initialize instances of Canvas and Ellipse provided by FabricJS and disable the canvas click movement property of canvas Ellipse using excludeFromExport property and render the Rect on the Canvas as given below.
Syntax:
fabric.Ellipse({ rx: number, ry: number , excludeFromExport: boolean });
Parameters: This property accepts a single parameter as mentioned above and described below:
- excludeFromExport: When `true`, the object is not exported in OBJECT/JSON.
The below example illustrates the excludeFromExport in Fabric.js:
Example:
HTML
<!DOCTYPE html> < html > < head > <!-- Loading the FabricJS library --> < script src = </ script > </ head > < body > < center > < h1 style = "color: green;" > neveropen </ h1 > < b > Fabric.js | Ellipse excludeFromExport Property </ b > < canvas id = "canvas" width = "600" height = "200" style = "border:1px solid #000000" > </ canvas > </ center > < script > // Initiate a Canvas instance var canvas = new fabric.Canvas("canvas"); // Initiate a Ellipse instance var ellipse = new fabric.Ellipse({ rx: 80, ry: 40, cornerDashArray: [5], excludeFromExport: 'false' }); // Render the Ellipse in canvas canvas.add(ellipse); </ script > </ body > </ html > |
Output:
