The getDayOfYear() method of a ZonedDateTime class is used to get the day-of-year field from this ZonedDateTime. This method returns the integer value for the day-of-year from 1 to 365, or 366 in a leap year.
Syntax:
public int getDayOfYear()
Parameters: This method does not take any parameters.
Return value: This method returns an integer representing day-of-year, from 1 to 365, or 366 in a leap year.
Below programs illustrate the getDayOfYear() method:
Program 1:
// Java program to demonstrate // ZonedDateTime.getDayOfYear() method import java.time.*; public class GFG { public static void main(String[] args) { // create a ZonedDateTime object ZonedDateTime zoneddatetime = ZonedDateTime.parse( "2018-12-06T19:21:12.123+05:30[Asia/Calcutta]" ); // get day-of-year field int value = zoneddatetime.getDayOfYear(); // print result System.out.println( "day-of-year: " + value); } } |
day-of-year: 340
Program 2:
// Java program to demonstrate // ZonedDateTime.getDayOfYear() method import java.time.*; public class GFG { public static void main(String[] args) { // create a ZonedDateTime object ZonedDateTime zoneddatetime = ZonedDateTime.parse( "2018-10-25T23:12:31.123+02:00[Europe/Paris]" ); // get day-of-year field int value = zoneddatetime.getDayOfYear(); // print result System.out.println( "day-of-year: " + value); } } |
day-of-year: 298
