Apple only recently unveiled iOS & iPadOS 17 to the general public, and while these updates will tout a plethora of impressive new features, it’s worth noting that some of those features aren’t as new as they might seem, especially if you’ve been jailbreaking for a while.

After doing tons of research into the new features and changes in iOS & iPadOS 17, we’ve found at least 17 features that appear to be borrowed, or at least heavily inspired by features first made available to jailbreakers in the jailbreak community via jailbreak tweaks.

You can learn more about those features in our full news post.

How about being able to capture a photograph in an instant, directly from your iPhone’s Lock Screen, without having to fiddle with a Camera UI in the meantime?

That’s the premise behind a new jailbreak tweak called InstantCamera, which can instantly snap a photograph from your Lock Screen with a tap of the Camera Quick Action button.
