Have you ever wished that more of your iPhone’s apps supposed landscape orientation? If so, then you’re not alone.
While not every app may natively support landscape orientation out of the box, it’s possible to force support unofficially with the likes of a free jailbreak tweak called GyrationApps by iOS developer CydiaGeek.
This simple tweak provides not only support for landscape orientation for apps that don’t already support it, but also a means to blacklist those that don’t play nicely with spinning sideways.
Once installed, users will find a dedicated preference pane in the Settings app where they can turn the tweak on or off on demand and configure that blacklist to their liking:
If you’re a proponent of landscape orientation and are interested in giving GyrationApps a try, then you can download the tweak for free from the BigBoss repository via your favorite package manager app.
GyrationApps is advertised as working with both rootless and rootful jailbreaks, including the latest Dopamine and palera1n jailbreaks on iOS 15 and 16.
