nekoJB Project

KFD-based jailbreak attempt for arm64 devices called nekoJB.KFD-based jailbreak attempt for arm64 devices called nekoJB.

A team of developers are trying to make a jailbreak out of the kfd exploit that supports the iPhone X and older, and they’re calling the project ‘nekoJB.’

Since these older devices wouldn’t require a PPL bypass, this might be possible to do and offer more conveniences than the semi-tethered palera1n jailbreak currently does.

Misaka v2 beta released

The Misaka package manager app for MacDirtyCow and kfd exploit-based add-ons was updated to version 2 beta this week with a truck load of improvements, especially relating to kfd support for more devices.

Notifake

You can spoof incoming notifications from any of your installed apps with the new Notifake jailbreak tweak.

You can not only specify what the notifications say, but you can control when the notifications occur. You can invoke them with Activator on demand, or you can time them to happen at specific times during the day.

CallSilent

A new jailbreak tweak called CallSilent lets you effortlessly mute and/or decline phone calls with simple upside-down iPhone-flipping gestures instead of having to press the volume or lock buttons on your device.

You can even choose to tap at the bottom of the screen underneath the slide to answer slider if you find that to be more convenient.

Cluckabunga

Enjoy system-wide SpringBoard customization and much more without a jailbreak by way of the kernel file descriptor (kfd) exploit for iOS 16.2-16.5 thanks to Cluckabunga.

This app lets you change the way the Home Screen, Control Center, Folders, Dock, Home Bar, Dynamic Island, Fonts, Passcode buttons, Lock Screen, and many other things look and behave.

RootHide

A new project that aims to hide your rootless jailbreak from apps that you’ve installed from the App Store is currently in beta and it’s called RootHide.

This project should prevent apps from being able to tell you’re jailbroken and prevent you from using them as a result.

FingerLock for rootless jailbreaks

The popular FingerLock jailbreak tweak has been updated to version 3.0.2 to support the latest rootless jailbreaks on iOS 15 and 16, which includes Dopamine and palera1n.

This tweak adds a new button to the Lock Screen to replace the Home Button and/or Home Bar for initiating the device unlock process.

Pattern_F_ at BlackHat USA 2023
