PureKFD updated to v3.4 with redesigned UI, exploit reliability, and other enhancements

PureKFD, the relatively new all-in-one package manager app for the MacDirtyCow and kfd exploits that touts full compatibility with both Misaka and Picasso repositories, was updated Tuesday evening to version 3.4 with more improvements.

Project lead developer lrdsnow announced PureKFD version 3.4 via the dedicated Discord server. The announcement included a change log that reveals the following changes in the latest update:

– UI redesign
– Search now signifies the package type & no longer crashes
– Installed now shows what type of package it is and how likely it is to work
– Fixed all of the Picasso prefs, fixing custom resolution & adding picker for SubType Setter (and potentially other packages)
– Improved exploit reliability & stability

From what we can gather, this is a rather important update. Not only are we getting a redesigned user interface, but we’re also getting improved exploit reliability. Important features of the app are also more reliable, with searches no longer resulting in crashes, more information about packages that you’ve installed, and improvements to preferences.

If you’re already a PureKFD user, then you’re going to want to update to the latest version to take advantage of the new changes. Likewise, anyone who isn’t already taking advantage of PureKFD should really consider downloading and installing the new version 3.4 release instead of anything prior.

Since PureKFD works with the MacDirtyCow and kfd exploits, add-ons installed through the package manager app don’t require a jailbreak to use. Moreover, many of them can be used on either the MacDirtyCow exploit for iOS & iPadOS 15.0-16.1.2 or the kfd exploit for iOS & iPadOS 16.0-16.6 beta 1.

Those interested in learning more about the PureKFD project can head over to the GitHub page where they’ll find the .ipa file that they can sideload or perma-sign with the TrollStore utility. We’ll have detailed tutorials up very soon that walk you through this process.

Have you installed the latest version of the PureKFD app yet? Be sure to let us know why or why not in the comments section down below.
