One type of jailbreak tweak that I’ve seen a lot of over the years is one that registers screen touches and displays orbs where those touches are happening.
As popular as these tweaks seem to be, one didn’t exist yet for the latest jailbreaks, and so iOS developer uz.ra made available a new jailbreak tweak called ShowTouch that revives the popular concept.
As you can see in the screenshot example above, the tweak not only displays where your fingers are touching the screen with orbs, but also the exact X & Y coordinates of each of those touches.
And for those of you wondering, ShowTouch supports multi-touch, so even if you’re using more than one finger, the tweak should recognize every touch you make on your display and show information for them respectively.
ShowTouch isn’t available in a mainline repository, so instead you will have to download it from a Discord link provided by the developer on X (formerly Twitter). The tweak supports jailbroken iOS & iPadOS 15 and has been made with the XinaA15 jailbreak in mind. I am currently in talks with the developer about a Dopamine-compatible version, so that will be coming soon.
After you have downloaded the .deb file, you can proceed to install it manually with a package manager app such as Sileo or Zebra, or with a file manager app such as Filza.
Are you going to be taking advantage of the ShowTouch jailbreak tweak? Tell us why or why not in the comments section down below.
