With Samsung’s new foldable smartphones and the Galaxy S25 series already launched, it may seem like Samsung has wrapped up its 2025 announcements. But that’s not the case.
The Korean tech giant still has several big launches planned for the remainder of the year. While the official launch dates haven’t been confirmed yet, these products are expected to arrive soon.
Here are some of the major releases Samsung still has in store for the rest of 2025.

Samsung’s first-ever trifolding smartphone
The form factor we’ve been waiting for
This is a big one. Samsung has long been rumored to be working on a trifolding smartphone, and it finally looks like the next few months could be when we actually see it.
We were expecting Samsung to reveal some details at the July 2025 Unpacked event, where the company launched the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 — similar to how the company teased the slim Galaxy S25 Edge at the Galaxy S25 series launch in January. But, Samsung remained tight-lipped.
However, we now have our first official hint that the Galaxy trifold is indeed on its way. During its Q2 2025 earnings call, Samsung confirmed it will launch its trifolding phone within the next five months.
Trifolding phones aren’t an entirely new concept. OEMs like Huawei have already launched devices like the Mate XT Ultimate, which uses two hinges and three foldable screen sections (hence “trifold”).
However, the Mate XT has only been available in limited regions — and not in the US. Samsung’s take could be the first globally available trifold phone.
Rumors suggest Samsung’s trifold will take a different approach than Huawei’s. Instead of folding once inward and once outward like the Mate XT, Samsung’s trifolding phone is expected to fold twice inward.
There are also rumors that the phone might feature a titanium frame, and when fully unfolded, it could offer a 10-inch tablet-like display.
There’s no official word yet on pricing or launch date, but some reports estimate that the device could cost around $3,000, which makes sense given the advanced folding tech and added complexity compared to standard book-style foldables that already sell for around $2,000.
We still don’t know exactly when Samsung will announce it, but we do know it’s coming soon. With more leaks expected in the coming weeks, we’ll likely learn even more before the official reveal.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE
A toned-down flagship that may get it right
Samsung releases a “Fan Edition” of its flagship smartphone series every year, and this year is no different. The company is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 FE soon — actually sooner than usual — as Samsung has officially confirmed.
Over the past few weeks, several leaks about the Galaxy S25 FE have surfaced, giving us a good idea of what to expect from Samsung’s next-generation affordable flagship.
Much like the Galaxy S25 series, the phone is expected to feature a minimalist design, with a flat back and three camera cutouts on the rear.
What’s particularly interesting is that Samsung seems to be continuing its Galaxy S25 Edge design language with this more budget-friendly model.
The phone will reportedly be just 7.4mm thick, making it nearly as slim as the base Galaxy S25 and significantly thinner than last year’s Galaxy S24 FE.
However, due to the slimmer build, Samsung may trim the battery capacity to 4,500mAh from last year’s 4,700mAh, while still retaining 45W fast charging like the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The Galaxy S25 FE is expected to launch in four color options: black, dark blue, light blue, and white.
It will reportedly feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chipset.
We don’t yet know the official pricing or release date, but rumors point to an early September launch, possibly making its debut at this year’s IFA. That said, Samsung hasn’t made anything official just yet.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE
Samsung’s next-generation affordable wireless earbuds
Alongside the Galaxy S25 FE, another “Fan Edition” device we may be getting is Samsung’s upcoming affordable wireless earbuds.
Samsung last introduced an FE edition of the Galaxy Buds in October 2023, and now, nearly two years later, it might be time for the Galaxy Buds 3 FE.
According to leaks, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE will adopt the same design language as the premium Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, which means we’ll likely see a stem-style design along with silicone eartips (something even the regular Galaxy Buds 3 lack).
While full details on features are still unknown, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE are also rumored to offer longer battery life thanks to larger battery cells in both earbuds and the charging case.
There’s no confirmed launch date for the Galaxy Buds 3 FE just yet, but since the earbuds have recently appeared in multiple certification listings, it seems likely that the launch isn’t far off — possibly even happening alongside the Galaxy S25 FE.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series
Expect smaller notches and bigger batteries
Samsung has been chopping and changing its flagship tablet lineup for the past few years.
The Galaxy Tab S9 series launched with three models: the baseline Galaxy Tab S9, the mid-tier S9+, and the high-end Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. Samsung then dropped the base model with the Galaxy Tab S10 series, releasing only the Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra.
Now, it seems another shift is underway.
The Galaxy Tab S11 series is also expected to feature just two models, like the Tab S10 series, but this time, Samsung is reportedly dropping the Plus model, with plans to release the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
It’s still unclear whether the standard Tab S11 will replace the Plus model while keeping a similar display size, or if Samsung will return to offering a more compact display like the Tab S9.
Meanwhile, leaks suggest the Tab S11 Ultra will retain its 14.6-inch display, but with a smaller notch up top.
Another notable design change in the Ultra model is the reported removal of the rear charging strip used for the Bluetooth S Pen. Instead, Samsung may switch to a stylus similar to the one included with the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Internally, the Tab S11 Ultra is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek 9400+ processor and feature slightly larger batteries than its predecessor.

Samsung’s XR headset (Project Moohan)
Samsung’s Apple Vision Pro rival could finally see daylight
Samsung, Google, and Qualcomm have long been known to be jointly working on an Apple Vision Pro-like XR headset, and it looks like 2025 might finally be the year we see it in action.
It’s not like the XR headset — codenamed Project Moohan — hasn’t been seen before. Popular YouTuber Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) went hands-on with a prototype earlier this year, giving us our first look at the device.
The headset will run on Android XR, Google’s version of Android built specifically for extended reality devices.
The headset is expected to resemble the Apple Vision Pro in design, featuring a large reflective glass front, cameras hidden behind it, and a light-colored fabric body.
Like Apple’s offering, it will use an external battery pack. It will reportedly support eye and hand tracking for UI interaction, but unlike the Vision Pro, it may also support physical controllers.
According to recent reports, we might not have to wait much longer. Samsung is rumored to be planning an Unpacked event on September 29, 2025, where the headset will be officially unveiled. The device is expected to go on sale in October.
As for the pricing, we don’t yet know the exact pricing, but considering Apple’s Vision Pro starts at $3,500, we should expect a premium price tag here as well.
We’re only halfway through, and Samsung’s not slowing down
All things considered, Samsung so far seems to have only launched successors to its already available phones, with some exciting additions, like its first trifolding phone and XR headset, coming later this year.
2025 is turning out to be a great year for Samsung in terms of both new hardware and sales, and these upcoming releases could make it an even more memorable year for the Korean giant.
