BlueprintJS is a React-based UI toolkit for the web. This library is very optimized and popular for building interfaces that are complex data-dense for desktop applications. Tabs Component allows the user to switch between components present in given different tabs. We can use the following approach in ReactJS to use the ReactJS Blueprint Tabs Component.
Tabs Props:
- animate: It is used to indicate whether the selected tab indicator should animate its movement or not.
- className: It is used to denote a space-delimited list of class names to pass along to a child element.
- defaultSelectedTabId: It is used to denote the initially selected tab ID, for uncontrolled usage.
- id: It is used to denote the Unique identifier for this Tabs container.
- large: The tab titles will display with larger styling when this is set to true.
- onChange: It is a callback function that is triggered when a tab in the tab list is clicked.
- renderActiveTabPanelOnly: It is used to indicate whether inactive tab panels should be removed from the DOM and unmounted in React or not.
- selectedTabId: It is used to denote the selected tab ID, for controlled usage.
- vertical: It is used to indicate whether to show tabs stacked vertically on the left side or not.
Tab Props:
- children: It is used to pass the child component to the underlying element.
- className: It is used to denote a space-delimited list of class names to pass along to a child element.
- disabled: It is used to indicate whether the tab is disabled or not.
- id: It is used to denote the Unique identifier for this Tab container.
- panel: It is used to denote the panel content, rendered by the parent Tabs when this tab is active.
- panelClassName: It is used to denote a space-delimited string of class names applied to tab panel container.
- title: It is used to denote the content of the tab title element.
Creating React Application And Installing Module:

Step 1: Create a React application using the following command:
npx create-react-app foldername

Step 2: After creating your project folder i.e. foldername, move to it using the following command:
cd foldername

Step 3: After creating the ReactJS application, Install the required module using the following command:
npm install @blueprintjs/core
Project Structure: It will look like the following.
Example: Now write down the following code in the App.js file. Here, App is our default component where we have written our code.

Step to Run Application: Run the application using the following command from the root directory of the project:
npm start
