React Suite Panel Component

React Suite is a popular front-end library with a set of React components that are designed for the middle platform and back-end products. Panel component allows the user to display a content panel that supports folding panels. We can use the following approach in ReactJS to use the React Suite Panel Component.

Panel Props:

  • bodyFill: It is used to ensure that the content area filled with containers.
  • bordered: It is used to show panel with border.
  • shaded: It is used to show panel with shadow.
  • classPrefix: It is used to denote the prefix of the component CSS class.
  • collapsible: It is used to indicate whether it is a collapsible panel or not.
  • defaultExpanded: It is used to expand the panel by default.
  • eventKey: It is used to denote the event key corresponding to the panel.
  • expanded: It is used to expand the Panel.
  • header: It is used to allow the head to display information.
  • id: It is used to denote the unique ID.

PanelGroup Props:

  • accordion: It is used to indicate whether it is a collapsible panel or not.
  • activeKey: It is used to denote the Active key which corresponds to eventkey in Pandel.
  • classPrefix: It is used to denote the prefix of the component CSS class.
  • defaultActiveKey: It is used to denote the default expansion panel.
  • onSelect: It is a callback function for toggling to expand the panel.

 

Creating React Application And Installing Module:

  • Step 1: Create a React application using the following command:

    npx create-react-app foldername
  • Step 2: After creating your project folder i.e. foldername, move to it using the following command:

    cd foldername
  • Step 3: After creating the ReactJS application, Install the required module using the following command:

    npm install rsuite

Example: Now write down the following code in the App.js file. Here, App is our default component where we have written our code.

Step to Run Application: Run the application using the following command from the root directory of the project:

npm start

Output: Now open your browser and go to http://localhost:3000/, you will see the following output:
