This past weekend, I presented my session “Everybody Has a Story to Tell: Developing Your First Presentation” at SQLSaturday Madison.
Frankly, I consider this to be a niche session. Everyone wants to learn about execution plans, indexing, and backup tuning, but not so many are interested in giving their first presentation. So if I get a turnout of 10 attendees, that’s a packed house in my mind. At SQLSaturday Madison, I wound up with 25!
So thank you to everyone who chose to come attend my session. As much as I hope it inspired all of you, all of you inspired me too by choosing to attend!
Now that I have a few in-person presentations of this session complete, I am pleased to offer it as an online webinar! I will be hosting this webinar on Wednesday, April 18th, at 11:00AM EST:
I’ll take you through four phases of session development: creating your idea, developing your subject matter, building your content, and presenting your session. It is my hope that at the conclusion, you’ll come away inspired and armed with the necessary knowledge to take those next steps and develop your first presentation.
So if you’ve ever considered speaking but aren’t sure where to start, start by attending my webinar!
