Cross-Country Roadshows in the Nordics This Week!

null

I’ll be speaking throughout the Nordics from 3rd May to 13th May 2019, from Reykjavik in the west to Helsinki in the east!

The topics range from advanced SQL statement behavior and tuning to advanced scalability and performance settings for the SQL Server relational engine to cool query tuning techniques everyone who writes SQL code should know. Interested in seeing this content but cannot make it in person? Then check out our Resources site where we have tons of video recordings of sessions like these, as well as ebooks, white papers, and more.

Stockholm
May 3rd – SQLSaturday Stockholm preconference workshop entitled From Beginning to Advanced SQL Developer in One Day from 9 AM to 5 PM
May 4th – SQLSaturday Stockholm session entitled 5 Critical Considerations When Moving to the Cloud in the 3 PM time slot

Oslo
May 7th – Norwegian Microsoft Data Platform User Group from 5 to 7 PM presenting the session Push Your Apps to Enterprise Scale with Advanced SQL Server Features

Copenhagen
May 8th – Danish SQL Server User Group from 5 to 7 PM presenting the session Query Tuning Internals for the Advanced SQL Developer

Gothenburg
May 9th – Swedish SQL Server User Group Rerun of May 3rd precon. This one is a bit tricky. It’s set to run from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. However, my flight from Denmark doesn’t land until 9 AM. Will I make it in time? Very likely. Will I make it in time to be fully set up and ready to present at 9:30 AM? Um, not very likely.

Helsinki
May 11th – SQLSaturday Helsinki presenting the session Ten Query Tuning Techniques Every SQL Programmer Should Know from 12:30 to 1:30 PM

Reykjavik
May 13th – PASS Iceland (link available to PASS Iceland Facebook group members only)

The events are free for everyone to attend, but most of them require registration. The only exceptions are the full-day workshops in Stockholm and Gothenburg. These are for-fee sessions because they are full-day workshops with TONS of content.

If you happen to live in any of these cities, I invite you to attend. For that matter, even if you can’t attend, please invite your friends and colleagues to come to the user group meetings! Please register individually at the links provided.
