WordPress is a free and open-source Content Management System (CMS) framework. it is a tool that organizes the whole process of creating, storing, and showcasing web content in an optimal way. WordPress started its journey as an improvement tool to enhance the regular typography of day-to-day writing. But it was taken as a blogging tool and as we reach the last quarter of this year WordPress stands strong as the most used WCM system used and that also not only in the blogging community.
In this article, we are going to see how to edit a post in WordPress. So to edit a post in WordPress follow the below steps.
Step 1: Go to the WordPress login panel and enter the username and password to log into WordPress.
After login, you’ll see a similar dashboard like this
Step 2: Now click on the Post tab:
Step 3: Here you can see all your published posts. Now click on the post that you want to edit. For example in this article we want to edit the first post so we click on it.
Step 4: Now your post is ready to edit. Once your editing is complete just click on the publish button. In the below example, we are editing the title of this post.
Step 5: After edit and publish your post, you need to click on the WordPress icon to go back to the WordPress dashboard.
Now in the post section, you can see our post is successfully edited.
