How to hide Title from Posts and Pages in WordPress ?

WordPress is an open-source Content Management System that is based on PHP and MySQL and is used to create a dynamic website. It was developed by Matt Mullenweg and Written in PHP. WordPress is one of the most popular that allows customizing and managing the website from its back-end content management system.

Titles of the post and pages help both the visitors and search engines to identify the type of the post and pages. But sometimes due to the custom layout of the design and modification required, we want to hide the title of posts and pages. 

In this article, we are going to see how we can hide the title of WordPress pages and posts. 

Hiding the title of WordPress Posts and Pages using the WordPress site editor: In this method, we are going to see how we can hide the title of all posts and pages using the WordPress editor. Using this method, all the posts and page titles get hidden from your WordPress website.

Hiding the post title: For hiding the title of the post, follow these simple steps.

Step 1: First login to your WordPress website using your user id and password.

 

Step 2: After logging into your WordPress dashboard, hover over the “Posts” section and click on “All Posts”.

 

Step 3: Choose the post for which you want to hide the title of the post and then click on the “edit” link.

 

Step 4: After clicking on the edit link, the edit post option will appear on your screen, now hover over to the post title and then click on the eye icon to disable the title of the post.

 

Step 5: Finally click on the update button to save all the changes to your post.

 

After updating the post, the title of the post gets hidden.

Hiding the page title: For hiding the title of the page follow these simple steps.

Step 1: First hover over the “Pages” and then click on the “All Pages” link.

 

Step 2: Now choose the page for which you want to hide the title of the page and then click on the “edit” link of the page.

 

Step 3: Just similar to hide the title of the post, hover over the page title and then click on eye icon the to hide the title of the page.

 

Step 4: After hiding the title of the post, click on the “Update” button to save all the changes to the page.

 

Now the title from your page gets hidden.

This is how you can hide the title of posts and pages easily on your WordPress website. Using this method you can only hide the title from the selective post and pages.
