In this article, we are going to see how to get the translation matrix of a circle object _calcTranslateMatrix() Method in the canvas Circle using FabricJS, it used to fill an object. The canvas Circle means the Circle is movable and can be stretched according to requirements. Further, the Circle can be customized when it comes to initial stroke color, height, width, fill color, or stroke width.
The _calcTranslateMatrix() Method is used to calculate translation matrix of a circle object.
Approach: First import the fabric.js library. After importing the library, create a canvas block in the body tag which will contain the Circle. After this, initialize an instance of Canvas and Circle class provided by Fabric.JS and use the _calcTranslateMatrix() Method.
Syntax:
circle._calcTranslateMatrix()
Parameters: This function does not takes any parameter.
Return Value: This method returns the array containing translation matrix of the object.
Example: This example uses FabricJS to set the _calcTranslateMatrix() method of the canvas circle as shown in the below example:
HTML
<!DOCTYPE html> < html > < head > <!-- FabricJS CDN --> < script src = </ script > </ head > < body > < h1 style = "color: green;" > neveropen </ h1 > < h3 > Fabric.js Circle _calcTranslateMatrix() method </ h3 > < canvas id = "canvas" width = "600" height = "300" style = "border:1px solid #000000" > </ canvas > < script > // Initiate a Canvas instance var canvas = new fabric.Canvas("canvas"); // Initiate a Circle instance var circle = new fabric.Circle({ radius: 100, fill: 'blue', stroke: 'green', strokeWidth: 3, angle: 30 }); // Render the circle in canvas canvas.add(circle); canvas.centerObject(circle); console.log(circle._calcTranslateMatrix()) </ script > </ body > </ html > |
