Lodash is a JavaScript library that works on the top of underscore.js. Lodash helps in working with arrays, strings, objects, numbers, etc.
The _.mul() method is used to return the product of all the given arguments.
Syntax:
_.mul( val1, val2, ..., valn )
Parameters: This method takes a variable number of values to find the product.
Return Value: This method returns the product of all the given arguments.
Note: This will not work in normal JavaScript because it requires the lodash contrib library to be installed. The Lodash contrib library can be installed using npm install lodash-contrib –save.
Example 1:
Javascript
// Defining lodash contrib variable var _ = require( 'lodash-contrib' ); // Using the _.mul() method var mulVal = _.mul( 8, 22, 10 ); console.log( "The Product of given values is :" , mulVal ); |
Output:
The Product of given values is : 1760
Example 2:
Javascript
// Defining lodash contrib variable var _ = require( 'lodash-contrib' ); // Using the _.mul() method var mulVal = _.mul( 8 ); console.log( "The Product of given values is :" , mulVal ); |
Output:
The Product of given values is : 8
Example 3:
Javascript
// Defining lodash contrib variable var _ = require( 'lodash-contrib' ); // Using the _.mul() method var mulVal = _.mul( 0.8, 0.2, 0.9 ); console.log( "The Product of given values is :" , mulVal ); |
Output:
The Product of given values is : 0.14400000000000004
