Take control of your iPhone’s Home screen folders with Foldy

If you use folders to organize the plethora of apps residing on your iOS device’s Home screen, then you’ve likely come to realize just how monotonous they can look, especially in large numbers.

A newly released and free jailbreak tweak dubbed Foldy by iOS developer Thomz aims to resolve this concern by offering jailbreakers novel ways of personalizing the look and feel of their Home screen folders.

As depicted in the screenshot examples above, Foldy brings many different types of folder-centric customization, including colorization, layout, appearance, and more. After you install the tweak, you’ll find a dedicated preference pane in the Settings app where you can configure the tweak to your liking:

Here, you can:

  • Toggle Foldy on or off on demand
  • Enable and configure a custom folder corner radius
  • Enable and configure a custom folder background alpha level
  • Customize your folder titles
  • Customize your folder background colors
  • Customize your folder frame
  • Customize your folder layout
  • Enable or disable ‘Clear Mode’
  • Hide or show the folder’s page dots
