I ran several speed tests with both VPNs and found that CyberGhost VPN is simply faster.
CyberGhost VPN consistently maintains high speeds across all servers. With CyberGhost VPN, websites and HD videos load instantly, and it takes only 10-11 minutes to torrent a 20 GB file on nearby servers (and 15-16 minutes on distant servers).
Surfshark maintained good speeds on nearby servers, but I did experience slower speeds on distant servers, where websites take around 3 seconds to load, HD videos require 2-3 seconds, and 4K videos take over 5 seconds with occasional buffering.
