The Sileo Team on Friday pushed another update to the Sileo beta preview, bringing the pre-release package manager and Cydia alternative’s version number up to 0.8b8 from the previous version 0.8b4.
A Tweet shared by the
Sileo Team just this morning describes what’s new in the update:
The full list of changes available in Sileo 0.8b8 include:
Sileo 0.8b8
– APT updated to version 1.7.4
– Fixes for some minor UI issues
– Sileo now auto-detects and tries to recover from dpkg interruptions
If you have a jailbroken iOS 11 device by way of Electra, then you can download and install the latest version of the Sileo beta preview from the default Electra repository.
Even those that haven’t jailbroken their devices can
try Sileo by way of the Sileo Demo, which can be installed via third-party
signing services such as Ignition. The
latest version of Sileo isn’t yet available on Ignition, albeit it will be
updated shortly.
Side-loadable
.ipa files are available here and can be installed with Cydia Impactor from
a computer.
Please keep in mind that the Sileo package manager is still in its beta
stages, so bugs are to be expected. There’s no official ETA for the official
release.
