ReachCC13 opens Control Center with iOS’ native Reachability gesture

Control Center is an incredibly convenient section of iOS that provides instantaneous access to your favorite toggles and shortcuts, but if you have a larger iPhone such as the XS Max or 11 Pro Max, then you might have trouble getting to the interface with just one hand given how the gesture to open Control Center involves the very top-right corner of the display.

Here to solve the aforementioned problem is a newly released and free jailbreak tweak called ReachCC13 by iOS developer Kritanta. Just as the name implies, this tweak modifies the behavior of the iPhone’s native Reachability gesture to launch Control Center when invoked instead.

ReachCC13 doesn’t come with any options to configure because using the tweak is fairly straightforward. Once installed, you can swipe down on the Home Bar at the bottom of your display and Control Center will open instead of the usual Reachability interface.

ReachCC13 is ideal for handsets with larger displays, it will also work with smaller ones like the iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone 11, and iPhone 11 Pro. If your handset has a Home Button, then you would simply use that device’s Reachability gesture instead of swiping down on the Home Bar, which typically involves triple-pressing the Home Button.

Those interested in trying ReachCC13 can download it for free from the OpenPack repository via their preferred package manager. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 13 devices.

Do you find replacing the Reachability gesture as a Control Center gesture to be an improvement over the native functionality in iOS? Let us know in the comments section below.
