If you’re anything like me, then you probably use certain things in the Settings app more than others. Unfortunately, iOS doesn’t make it any easier to get to those things, regardless of how often you use them.
Here to change that about iOS’ Settings app is a newly-released and free jailbreak tweak called StickAround by iOS developer Squ1dd13. With this tweak, you can pin your favorite preference panes to the top of the Settings app, making it significantly easier to get to the things that matter to you the most.
As you can discern for yourself in the screenshot examples above, you can swipe left on virtually any preference cell in the Settings app to uncover a green ‘Pin’ button. Tapping on this button pins the preference cell to the top of the Settings app. Perhaps unsurprisingly, you can also swipe left on any pinned preference cell to reveal an orange ‘Unpin’ button for doing just the opposite.
The first time you pin something with StickAround, the tweak warns you that the pinned preference cell gets duplicated and fastened at the top of the list:
Essentially what this means that while the pinned preference cell can make getting to your favorite preference pane easier, it will retain its original location in the Settings app in addition to the newly-pinned site.
Apart from the pinning capabilities demonstrated above, StickAround doesn’t come with any options to configure. The tweak is a free download from the BigBoss repository in Cydia or Sileo, and it supports all jailbroken iOS 11 and 12 devices.
