Jailbreak tweaks of the week: 13HUD, FilzaPlus, LuxSit, Manta, and more

Those looking to enhance their jailbroken iOS device with new tweaks and add-ons have come to the right place. In this piece, we’ll recap everything new from Monday, July 1st to Sunday, July 7th.

As usual, we’ll kick things off by discussing our favorite releases first, and we’ll outline the rest afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

13HUD – FREE

If you’re jailbroken, but you’re also eye-balling iOS 13 because of the plethora of mouth-watering new feature that it brings to the table, then you just might take an interest in a newly-released jailbreak tweak called 13HUD.

Just as the name implies, this tweak ports the iOS 13-centric volume HUD interface to jailbroken iOS 11 and 12 devices. More specifically, it replaces the standard center-screen volume HUD with something much less intrusive that hangs out at the edge of the display.

FilzaPlus – FREE

Filza is perhaps one of the most powerful file manager in existence today for jailbroken handsets, and while it does come with a plain text viewer, it doesn’t seem to have a full-featured code editor with syntax highlighting.

That’s where a new free jailbreak tweak called FilzaPlus comes into play. If it wasn’t already evident, this tweak adds a full-featured code editor with syntax highlighting to the Filza app, enabling power users and developers to make on-the-fly coding adjustments on demand.

LuxSit – FREE

Spotlight search is useful for a number of things, but sometimes the search results aren’t as detailed as they should be.

LuxSit is a new and free jailbreak tweak that attempts to change this by adding more specialized search results to the Spotlight search interface. Currently, the tweak supports searching in-app content for specific apps such as Spotify and YouTube, just to name a few.

Manta – $1.99

The native iOS lock screen leaves so much to be desired, and while Apple’s Today view has made things a little easier to bear, it still needs improvement.

A jailbreak tweak called Manta promises a fully-customizable and functional unified Lock screen experience, complete with calendar events, missed notifications, weather information, and much more on the same page. Think of it like a modern-day LockInfo.
