RootHide jailbreak detection bypass updated to version 1.0.6 with latest Dopamine code & other improvements

If you’re taking advantage of the RootHide jailbreak detection bypass for the Dopamine jailbreak on an arm64e (A12-A15) device running iOS or iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1, then you may want to check out the latest update.

Announced late last night via social media platform X (previously Twitter), the new RootHide version 1.0.6 is officially released that incorporates the following changes:

– Merge the latest code of Dopamine
– Improve performance and stability through improved jit activation timing

In a footnote, the RootHide team says that this is a big update with “many bug fixes and stability and performance improvements.” As a result, they recommend that all RootHide users install and taking advantage of version 1.0.6 at their earliest convenience.

When the RootHide team references merging the latest Dopamine code, they’re of course referring to the latest changes in versions 1.1.9 and 1.1.10, which introduced a lot of changes under the hood to make the jailbreak more stable.

RootHide includes a version of the Dopamine jailbreak app, which has been modified to incorporate the jailbreak detection bypass method.

For those who don’t know, a jailbreak detection bypass can prevent apps that actively detect if you’re jailbroken from being able to detect your jailbreak. This is how RootHide works, effectively letting you use those apps on your jailbroken device without them knowing.

If you’re interested in updating to the latest version of RootHide, then you can simply install the latest version over your existing installation. Everything you need is available at the project’s GitHub page.
