With the help of Numpy matrix.ptp()
method, we can get the peek-to-peek value that is (maximum-minimum) along the axis from given matrix.
Syntax :
matrix.ptp(axis)
Return : Return peek-to-peek value from given matrix
Example #1 :
In this example we can see that we are able to get the peek-to-peek value from a given matrix with the help of method matrix.ptp()
.
# import the important module in python import numpy as np # make matrix with numpy gfg = np.matrix( '[64, 1; 12, 3]' ) # applying matrix.ptp() method neveropen = gfg.ptp( 1 ) print (neveropen) |
[[63] [ 9]]
Example #2 :
# import the important module in python import numpy as np # make a matrix with numpy gfg = np.matrix( '[1, 2, 3; 4, 5, 6; 7, 8, -9]' ) # applying matrix.ptp() method neveropen = gfg.ptp( 0 ) print (neveropen) |
[[ 6 6 15]]
