If you were almost tempted to jump from your jailbreakable firmware to iOS 16 because of all the different ways the Lock Screen can be customized on a stock device nowadays, then fret no more.
A newly released jailbreak tweak called Nexus by iOS developer iCraze brings a similar Lock Screen editing experience to pwned iOS 14 and 15 devices that looks and feels so familiar that you’ll almost forget you aren’t using iOS 16.
As you can see for yourself in the screenshot examples provided, Nexus lets you change the Lock Screen’s text font, size, color, alignment, and more for the date and time indicators individually of one another.
But more than that, it even lets you change the offset and delve into other goodies such as hiding distractions from the Lock Screen like the ‘No Older Notifications” text, the Face ID glyph, and confirmation buttons when using the flashlight and camera Quick Action buttons.
Once installed, the tweak will ask to activate and then respring your device. After you do, you’re greeted with a pop-up that teaches you to tap and hold on the Lock Screen to enter Nexus’ customization interface:
After you do bring up the customization interface, you’ll find that it’s separated into four groups, including Time, Date, Notifications, and Other, which we’ll discuss more below:
Time
In the Time section, you will be able to:
- Enable and set a custom time font size
- Enable and set a custom time font
- Choose between left, center, or right aligned time font
- Adjust the horizontal offset manually

Other
In the Other section, you will be able to:
- Import a configuration
- Export a configuration
- Reset your configuration to default
- Hide the Lock Screen’s Face ID glyph
- Confirm before using the Flashlight or Camera Quick Actions
Despite all these configurations, iCraze says that Nexus should be compatible with virtually any jailbreak tweak that does not interfere with the Clock view. Tested jailbreak tweaks that appear to be compatible include the following:
- Exiwall
- Complications
- Axon
- Eneko
- MacPass
- LastLook
- Veza
- And possibly others…
Nexus is a fantastic jailbreak tweak for the cost, which currently sits at $1.49 via the Havoc repository in your favorite package manager app for the first 12 hours after launch. When those 12 hours are up, Nexus will cost $1.99, so grab it now! As a reminder, Nexus is compatible with jailbroken iOS 14 and 15 devices only.
