The Misaka package manager app has picked up yet another update on Friday, this time bringing it up to version 8.0.9 beta.
Citing the announcement shared in the project’s Discord server this morning, shown above, Misaka v8.0.9 introduces stability improvements that can help improve the user experience.
Apart from stability improvements, it doesn’t appear that there are any other substantial changes in this release; however, project lead developer @straight_tamago hinted in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) that a bigger update would be coming soon.
While we don’t yet know what the bigger update teased in the above post will be, we do advise that all Misaka users go ahead and update to the latest version to take advantage of the newest stability enhancements.
If you’re already a Misaka user, then you can download the latest .ipa file from the project’s GitHub page and sideload it over your existing installation with AltStore or Sideloadly, or you can perma-sign it over your existing installation with TrollStore.
Anyone that isn’t already using Misaka, and would like to give it a try, can follow one of our detailed step-by-step tutorials below:

With the Misaka package manager app, users, whether they’re jailbroken or not, can use the following exploits to install hacks and add-ons: MacDirtyCow for iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.7.1 and kernel file descriptor (kfd) with puaf_landa for iOS & iPadOS 16.0-16.6.1.
Misaka can also be used to install TrollStore 2 on kfd-capable devices, or to install JavaScript-based hacks on any firmware, including iOS & iPadOS 17.x. Recently, Misaka even recently picked up support for tvOS hacks using the MacDirtyCow exploit.
