Important stuff from this week
Taurine iOS 14 jailbreak gets kfd exploit support
Former jailbreak developer CoolStar shared a modified .ipa of the iOS 14-based Taurine jailbreak tool this week in the form of Taurine v1.1.7 beta 1 that added preliminary support for iOS & iPadOS 14.4-14.8.1 by way of the new kfd exploit.
The latest Taurine beta gives these firmware users another option to choose from besides unc0ver, which enhances jailbreak availability for the entire community.
You can find out more about this beta release and what it means for you in our full news post.
PureKFD
PureKFD is another brand-new package manager app that works with the MacDirtyCow and kfd exploits to bring us Picasso and Misaka-compatible packages in one single app.
With it, users can browse several repositories for their favorite add-ons that support non-jailbroken devices. They can install those add-ons and respring their device right from the app.
The app also saw an update to version 3.1 a day after we first showed it to our readers.
You can learn more about PureKFD in our full review post.
iota v3.0
The popular iota jailbreak tweak for the Snapchat app has been updated to version 3.0, unlocking a plethora of capabilities in the Snapchat app that the platform typically bars users from accessing.
The tweak has received tons of positivity from users, so if you’re a Snapchat user and okay with the risks that using add-ons may place on your account, then this tweak might be worth checking out.
You can learn more about the iota jailbreak tweak in our full review post.
Souvenir
You can customize your iPhone or iPad’s Lock Screen interface to your heart’s content with the new Souvenir jailbreak tweak.
Not only can you use this jailbreak tweak to align UI elements differently than they come out of the box, but you can also colorize text and change fonts, along other things.
You can learn more about Souvenir and how it works in our full review post.
Joe
All-in-one jailbreak tweaks tend to be popular among jailbreakers because they make it so you only have to install one add-on instead of several to achieve the ideal device customization paradigm.
Joe is the latest of such jailbreak tweaks, focusing primarily on iOS 15 devices to give users access to Home Screen, Lock Screen, Notification, Status Bar, and system colorization customization options.
You can find our more about Joe and how it works in our full review post.
Palette for MacDirtyCow & kfd
The new Palette add-on for devices susceptible to the MacDirtyCow and kfd exploits allows users of those devices to colorize various user interfaces to their liking.
Adding a splash of color to those interfaces is a great way to personalize an otherwise bland non-jailbroken device, so this add-on comes with a solid recommendation from us.
You can learn everything you need to know about Palette in our full review post.
