Ra1ncloud jailbreak for iOS 15.0-15.4.1
There has been some noise about a Fugu15-based jailbreak tool called ra1ncloud that supports arm64e devices (iPhone XS and newer) running iOS or iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1.
The jailbreak was originally teased on Thursday and released a day later. It’s a semi-untethered and rootless jailbreak that is more user-friendly than XinaA15, but it doesn’t support tweak injection. It also becomes perma-signed when installed.

Palera1n jailbreak re-written in C
The palera1n team excitedly announced toward the end of last weekend that the palera1n jailbreak had been re-written in the C programming language in version 2.0.0 beta and that it would bring a more user-friendly user experience with tons of improvements when compared with the non-C based predecessor.
The palera1n team warns that the latest palera1n jailbreak is still considered a public beta and for users to be aware that bugs are possible. So far, it’s up to beta 4 with the latest improvements.

Legacy palera1n adds iOS 16.4 support
The legacy palera1n jailbreak tool was updated to version 1.4.2 on Thursday with preliminary support for iOS & iPadOS 16.4, which was made available to developers for beta testing this past week.
The update also incorporates a ton of quality of life improvements and bug fixes that users will find useful.

TrollStore v1.5.1 update
The TrollStore perma-signing utility for iOS 14.0-15.4.1 (and some 15.5 and 15.6 betas, excluding release candidates), was updated to version 1.5.1 this week.
This is a relatively small bug fix update that simply addresses a frustrating crash that could occur when uninstalling the TrollStore app.

Cowabunga v8.0.0
The Cowabunga system customization app for non-jailbroken iOS 14.0-16.1.2 devices using TrollStore or MacDirtyCow was updated to version 8.0.0 over the weekend with significant improvements to app icon theming that don’t require the use of Shortcuts.
The new method allows the use of notification badges unlike making app-based Shortcuts with custom app icons, which is a serious perk that could make or break icon theming for a lot of people.

Havoc’s new theme downloader
The Havoc repository added a new theme downloader to its website that will make downloading and applying themes to multiple app icons on non-jailbroken handsets even easier by making it so users don’t have to apply themes to app icons individually.
This process currently works with a ton of beautiful themes available at Havoc.app, and it works quite well from our testing.

KrashKop crash reporter
The new KrashKop app is a crash reporter for jailbroken iOS 15 and 16 devices that can help developers troubleshoot their tweaks.
It can view crash logs on these devices using Apple’s new .ips format without having to be read with a Mac’s Console app.

TrollBoard
TrollBoard is another alternative to Cowabunga that allows users to theme their Home Screen’s app icons without a jailbreak.
This app actually changes system files, which some developers have claimed isn’t as safe as the method used in Cowabunga, and there’s currently no way to revert changes in v1.0. The developer behind TrollBoard says a revert option could come in a future v1.1 update.

checkl0ck iOS 16 support
The checkl0ck jailbreak tweak, which enables passcode and biometric authentication on jailbroken A10-A11 devices, has added support for iOS 16.0-16.1.2.
With this, palera1n users with the aforementioned devices can now enjoy a native-like passcode and Touch ID or Face ID user experience despite being jailbroken.

Proof bundle ID viewer
Sometimes you need to see an app’s bundle ID, but this isn’t something that’s ready viewable from your mobile handset.
The new Proof app for TrollStore and MacDirtyCow lets you view and copy any app’s bundle ID with ease so that you can use it however you see fit.

0xilis rootless repository
The new rootless dynamic of the palera1n-c jailbreak means that more tweaks are going to need to be updated for those who choose to use rootless over rootful.
iOS developer 0xilis isn’t wasting any time, and has already launched a new repository especially for rootless jailbreak users who want to take advantage of convenient tweaks.
