There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes in the jailbreak community recently. From repositories and developers ramping up for rootless jailbreak tweak support, to the Fugu15 Max jailbreak for arm64e devices (iPhone XS and later) running iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1 moving closer to completion.
If you’re a busy bee, then you’ve probably found it difficult to keep up with all these fast-paced changes in the jailbreak community, and that’s why we make these roundups every Sunday, to make sure you can stay up to date on new developments and never miss a beat.
In this roundup, we’ll discuss everything that’s been happening in the jailbreak community from tweak releases to news announcements spanning the week of Monday, April 17th to Sunday, April 23rd.
Important stuff from this week
Dopamine iOS 15.0-15.4.1 jailbreak teased
Lars Fröder just this week teased the UI of the upcoming Dopamine jailbreak, formerly known as Fugu15 Max.
The unveiling came just after Fröder said the jailbreak would be called Dopamine, a play on the developer’s @opa334 Twitter handle.
You can learn more about Dopamine in our full news post.
Fugu15 Max beta 8 released
An eighth Fugu15 Max beta jailbreak was released on Tuesday for users and developers to test.
Developer Lars Fröder said it was likely the final beta before a public release, and that a public release was still a while out. An official name would be announced shortly.
You can learn more about what’s new in the eighth public beta in our full news post.
Sileo ends support for XinaA15
The Sileo Team announced last weekend that Sileo would no longer be supported on the XinaA15 jailbreak, a tool that supports arm64e devices running iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.1.1.
The news means that Sileo users on the XinaA15 jailbreak will either need to use the Saily package manager instead or switch to the Fugu15 Max jailbreak for arm64e devices running iOS or iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1.
You can learn more about this change in our full news post.
Zebra ends plan to support XinaA15
Following in Sileo’s footsteps, the Zebra Team scrapped plans for the Zebra package manager to support the XinaA15 jailbreak, a tool that supports arm64e devices running iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.1.1.
This means that Zebra will also never run on this jailbreak, forcing users to use Saily instead.
You can learn more about this in our full news post.
Libhooker goes open source
The libhooker tweak injection method, frequently used by CoolStar-associated jailbreaks, was officially open-sourced to GitHub this past week.
Libhooker is being actively maintained by an anonymous developer and may or may not be used on future jailbreaks in addition to those that already use it.
You can find out more about libhooker’s open sourcing in our full news post.
Installing TrollStore with SSH Ramdisk
We made a step-by-step tutorial showcasing how you can install TrollStore on checkm8-compatible A9-A11 chip-equipped iPhones and iPads running iOS & iPadOS 14.0-15.4.1, 15.5 betas 1-4, and 15.6 betas 1-5.
This method will require DFU mode and does not work on arm64e devices (iPhone XR and later).
You can check out that tutorial for yourself if you have a compatible device and would like to use TrollStore to perma-sign apps.
Sileo updated to version 2.4.2
The Sileo package manager was officially updated to version 2.4.2 this week with a number of bug fixes and improvements.
You can find out what’s new in our full news post.

You can learn more about Spartan and what it aims to be in our full news post.
AppIndex app querying app
The new AppIndex app for jailbroken and TrollStore devices allows users to query advanced information about virtually any app installed on their iPhone or iPad.

You can learn more about Rena and where you can get it from in our full review post.
Textyle 3 custom font effects
Textyle 3 is a fun jailbreak tweak that can customize the font style of virtually any editable text you can find in various apps.
Textyle 3 supports font effects in iMessages, SMS, Notes, and various other places, but it can’t make changes to non-editable text, such as what you might find on a website.
You can learn more about Textyle 3 in our full review post.
