Those looking for an add-on for their MacDirtyCow or kfd exploit-enabled device that can do almost any of the heavy-lifting that we’d generally expect from a jailbreak tweak might take a liking to a newly released add-on via the Misakapackage manager app called Fast ToolBox by YangJiii.
Once installed, Fast ToolBox replaces the Settings → General preference pane with a new set of options that users ordinarily wouldn’t have any access to. Shown above, you can see the new options that we get, which include:
- Entering supervised mode
- Showing the Wi-Fi RSSI signal strength
- Enabling a new right-left UI
- Hide all low power alerts
- Prevent locking device after a respring
- Setting a Lock Screen footnote
- Adjusting AirDrop configuration to:
- Off
- Contacts only
- Everyone
- Restarting SpringBoard
Among these options, being able to Supervise a device is useful for DelayOTA updates and is one of my favorite options. Being able to do this on device without a jailbreak or any other complicated methods is a seriously useful thing.
The Fast ToolBox add-on is available to download for free from the Misaka package manager app and supports iOS 15.0-16.6 beta 1 devices either with the MacDirtyCow or kfd exploits. It’s also worth noting that this works on Apple’s latest devices since a jailbreak isn’t required.
