As a Sales Engineer for SQL Sentry, I have the opportunity to interact with many of our current and potential customers. I get to show them how our tools can help them with maintaining and optimizing their SQL Server environments and, as part of that, I get to share the knowledge that I’ve obtained about SQL Server during my time as a DBA and what I’ve continued to learn while at SQL Sentry. In addition to working with our customers, I’ve tasked myself with submitting to more SQL Saturdays in 2015. Between the SQL Saturdays that I’ve been accepted to and the conferences that are coming up, it looks like I could be busy for the next few months. Here’s what’s on my plate so far:
1/31 – SQL Saturday #362 Austin
2/7 – SQL Saturday #358 Albuquerque
2/28 – SQL Saturday #370 Phoenix
5/4-5/8 – MS Ignite (Chicago, IL)
5/18 – 5/21 – SQLintersection (Scottsdale, AZ)
There are a couple of events during this time that haven’t been settled yet and some SQL Saturdays that don’t have dates yet (yes, I’m talking about you Houston), but this should keep me busy for the first half of the year. Hopefully I have the opportunity to catch up with friends and customers as well as meeting some new people in the community. If you see me, please come and say hello.
